CM18 is a dense, water-resistant black ink with nearly double the pigment of CY18. It produces unique tones when thinned with water and works on various paper types, including metallics. Designed for Chinese art techniques but versatile for ink work, painting, drawing, and calligraphy, it is fade-resistant and water-soluble. The 180 ml (approximately 6.1 oz) bottle comes boxed.
The unique adhesive formulation allows for stability while being reconstitutable in water. When dried on absorbent papers, it can be wet-mounted without bleeding. The ink mixes well with Chinese watercolors for varied effects. The convenient cap design enables easy pouring and minimal spills. Note that this pigment ink should not be used in refillable pens and contains no acrylic ingredients.
