The University of Washington was Bruce Lee’s old stomping grounds. This is where the legend truly begins, and where an icon began to take shape into many things. The Little Dragon. The silver screen icon. The master of the one-inch punch. The very godfather of martial arts.
From 1961-64, lee was toting books to the classroom, and taking life lessons that he would apply to the martial arts. To trace those steps is to walk through campus. To see the world through his eyes. To visit Ruby Chow’s, where he worked and lived in a walk-in closet above the restaurant. The first steps towards greatness began in Seattle, and his roots there run deep.
