Celebrating 100 years of learning and discovery

Since opening its doors for the first time in fall 1926, Suzzallo Library has been a cornerstone of teaching, learning and research at the University, as well as a center for community connection and historical preservation. For over 100 years, Suzzallo has served as a campus icon and the front door to a library system that spans multiple locations across all three UW campuses, as well as a vast digital library providing resources and services to the UW community. The building, a masterpiece of Collegiate Gothic architecture, was designed by the prominent Seattle architecture firm Bebb and Gould, and Henry Suzzallo himself described the Library as “the soul of the University”. While Suzzallo Library will always be an icon of the UW campus, it is the people, programs and services inside the library that make it such an integral part of the University of Washington experience for all students, faculty and the community.

Celebrate Suzzallo Library's 100th anniversary with this brass lapel pin. Featuring a stick pin with removeable end cap. Approximately 1" x 1" in size.
