And for well over 100 years, University of Washington’s athletics have stood out on the collegiate landscape as premier across the board. From the men’s rowing and women’s rifle teams of the early 20th Century to the “Cardiac Kids” who brought U-Dub its first national title in football in 1960, the wave of purple and gold has swept the country.
